One of the principal aims of the Csillagnéző Foundation is to facilitate the creation of works of art, literature, and science; to support contemporary Hungarian artists in producing their works; and to ensure the “afterlife” of works of art by providing for their storage under appropriate conditions, their transportation, and their presentation to the public. In line with this objective, the Foundation seeks to encourage the creation of high-quality sculptures made of bronze, marble, and other noble materials, as well as exceptional works of painting and graphic art, which may also provide a rich foundation for the organisation of contemporary art presentations, exhibitions, and other cultural events.
